Hampshire Fare Network Pops Up at The Old Mill

Hampshire Fare took over The Old Mill, Hordle, in the New Forest for July’s members networking event.

The summer network event offered a relaxed opportunity to regroup during the second week of the Hampshire Food Festival. There was a catch-up covering what is happening next in the Hampshire Food Festival programme, including Hampshire Fare’s involvement in the Local Produce Food Court at the New Forest Show, Brockenhurst (25th-27th July). There were also opportunities to taste the stunning range of wines created by The Wharie Experience including Chouchen a limited edition mead-style drink based on a traditional Breton drink using heather honey from the New Forest.

Tracy Nash, Commercial Manager, Hampshire Fare, said: “This was a really good summer network. It is always like a breath of fresh air holding our networking events in the New Forest, and the setting of The Old Mill is absolutely superb.”

Upham Inns, who are Corporate Friends of Hampshire Fare, recently revitalised The Old Mill, a destination pub with boutique rooms. The bar and dining areas have been restyled and celebrate the origins of the building as an 18th century water mill. The dining terrace and delightful riverside gardens have also been improved for an idyllic alfresco dining and drinking experience. The Old Mill is now also offering afternoon teas as well as breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks menu including classic and signature cocktails.
