Lot of Bottle: 30 Years of Hildon

Lot of Bottle: 30 Years of Hildon

Hildon Natural Mineral Water are celebrating 30 years. The reasons behind Hildon’s continuing success are quite literally crystal clear. They include the water’s unique ph balance, low sodium content and pure flavour. This has ensured that Hildon consistently wins in blind tastings conducted by some of the world’s most discerning palates; including being the only bottled water to have scooped Restaurant Magazine’s prestigious Readers’ Choice Award, nominated and voted for by professional chefs, for the past seven consecutive years.

Hildon’s quality comes from over 50 years of natural filtration through the chalk hills of the Test Valley. The only change made is the gentle carbonation used to create the 'Gently Sparkling' range. Otherwise it is as fresh as the day it was drawn from the aquifer, just as nature intended. Its success is also due to the company’s commitment to protect the environment for generations to come using sustainable practices and operating ethically, ensuring that Hildon Estate has only a positive impact on the local environment.

Highlights in Hildon’s 30-year journey have been Chewton Glen, the luxury five-star country house hotel and spa in the New Forest, as one of Hildon’s original and most iconic customers, serving Hildon Natural Mineral Water since 1989. Simon Prosser, Director of Sales & Marketing explains: “Chewton Glen supported us from the beginning and is an important ambassador for us. It is also a quintessentially English brand and a perfect fit to our own luxury image and product.”

In 2017, after many successful years supplying the Royal Household, Hildon was proud to be awarded the coveted Royal Warrant to Her Majesty the Queen. To qualify it had to meet very strict criteria surrounding not only the water itself but also the company’s ethical and sustainable business practices. This has been the ultimate testament to the sheer quality of Hildon Natural Mineral Water and the business behind it.

Cheers to another 30 years.
