Winchester Distillery announces Summer Garden limited edition gin
With the sun comes the arrival of the latest seasonal release from Winchester Distillery, Summer Garden Gin. Made in small batches using freshly picked summer berries from The New Forest Fruit Company, along with botanicals such as juniper, rose petals, lemon verbena and peppermint, it is the quintessential taste of an English Summer Garden.
Enjoy Summer Garden Gin neat and you can expect a juniper-forward gin with a honey-like complexity on the tongue with a long red-berry and juniper finish. Or pour a generous measure over plenty of ice in a high ball or copa glass with a good quality tonic and the flavour of the fresh strawberries open up further with the juniper lingering in the background. The finish is one of sweet violets, fresh hay and honey. The recommended garnish is with strawberry halves and a sprig of fresh mint.

There are just 250 bottles per batch of Summer Garden Gin and it will soon be available to purchase for £36.95 per 700ml bottle while stocks last, directly via the Winchester Distillery online shop and from a range of independent retailers across the region.
