Wallops Wood Cottages offer half-term guests a dining treat!
Guests staying at Wallops Wood Cottages during half term (11th-26th February 2017) are invited to enjoy a meal for two with a bottle of wine at The Bakers Arms in Droxford.
Perched on a hillside in the South Downs National Park, within easy reach of Winchester, Petersfield, Portsmouth, Southampton, Chichester and the South Coast, with underfloor heating, wood burners and hot tubs, the 6 ground-floor cottages offer stunning views and a comfortable year-round base for walking, cycling and sightseeing. Awarded Gold at the Beautiful South Awards in the accessibility category, the cottages also won Gold for Self-Catering Provider of the Year. Bookings Manager, Liz Horn, was recognised as a Customer Service Superstar!
Whatever the weather there is something for everyone within easy reach of the cottages and excellent walking or cycling direct from the door. These family and dog friendly cottages, sleeping 6-8 people (a maximum of 42 people), provide a perfect place to get away for half-term with friends or family. They provide complimentary age appropriate books, DVDs and games and also have an extensive list of children’s and dog’s equipment available for guests to pre-select to reduce the amount you need to pack. Meals for the fridge can be provided and babysitters can be arranged so you could go out for your meal for two at The Bakers Arms without the children.
The Bakers Arms, a dog-friendly village Free House and fellow member of Hampshire Fare, serves local beers and a seasonal menu at lunch and dinner. They recently won Best Sunday Roast in the Hampshire Life Food and Drink Awards and you can easily walk there from the cottages.
