Uptons of Bassett launch new programme of cookery master-classes for 2013

Simon Broadribb of Upton's Butchers of Bassett in Southampton has launched his 2013 programme of cookery master-classes. The courses he is organising include Moroccan Cookery, Lamb Master-class, Sushi and Japanese Cookery, Fish and Shellfish, Bacon Making, Thai Cookery and a Pork Master-class.

Simon believes that these classes give people a chance to demonstrate how to get the most out of your meat and fish purchase and provide some interesting and alternative ideas for maximising their freshness and flavours.

The classes are priced from £75 per person for fish classes and from £95 for the meat master-classes, and they include the tutorial and practical, a relaxed dinner including wine, and meat or fish to take home. Classes last for three hours from 6.30pm - 9.30pm at Upton's of Bassett shop at 351 Winchester Road, Bassett, Southampton.
