Festival Tours and Open Days
The Hampshire Food Festival is an opportunity to delve into what goes on to produce some of your favourite local goodies. You are invited to explore the world of local wine-making, distilling, farming, cheese-making and more.
Events are happening across the county, throughout July. Flack Manor will be opening the brewery doors on Saturday 7th July for the Flack Banger Open Day where you will be able to tuck into local buffalo sausages whilst soaking up live music and ale. You can also pre-book on to a tour of the brewery.
Nigel Welsh from Flack Manor Brewery is an enthusiastic supporter of the festival: “The 18th Hampshire Fare Food Festival provides an excellent platform for farmers, producers and suppliers to promote themselves. It allows us to champion from grain to glass experiencing the whole brewing process - not forgetting an excellent champion banger or two. We’ll raise a glass of Flack’s Double Drop in celebration to this eventful month.”
Your beer exploration doesn't need to stop there with tours also being offered by MASH Brewery, Itchen Valley Brewery, Tap It Brewing Co and Ringwood Brewery during July's festival.
Discover more about what is grown in the county with a tour of a local farm. The Lavender Fields, Blackmoor Estate and Lyburn Farm will be opening their gates to share the love for growing and explain the journey of their products.
Wine lovers are in for a treat with the Vineyards of Hampshire Wine Festival at Raimes Vineyard on Sunday 22 July where there will be the chance to meet and taste wine from seven Hampshire vineyards. Hattingley Valley, Hambledon and Jenkyn Place are all hosting events during festival month. For gin enthusiasts there is a chance to tour Winchester Distillery on Saturday 21 July.
Many events require advance booking. See the full programme of events for further details and booking information.
