The convenience of buying meat locally

Our butchers and producers are always eager to come up with new ways to make buying your meat locally from them as straight forward as possible.

Many now offer meat boxes which provide you with a selection of cuts of meat at a good price. Purchasing a regular meat box can help with planning your weekly menus and many are available for delivery.

Lisa’s Larder in Keyhaven has recently launched a range of four boxes; The Frugal Meat Box (£30), The Slow Cook Box (£36), Wild Game Box (£38) and Lisa’s Larder Box (£40). The boxes are available for order online and can be collected on a Friday between 9am and 7pm.

Parsonage Farm near Andover has a wide range of meat boxes including Taster Box (£35), Family Favourites (£44,which is eleven family meals at £4 a meal), Children’s Favourites (£16), Weekenders (£30), Mid Week (£22) and the option to Design Your Own.

Rother Valley Organics and the Traditional Beef Company also offer meat boxes for home delivery. Meat is also available to order online for delivery to your door from Uptons of Bassett, Ambrose Sausages, Laverstoke Park Farm and Sunnyfields.
