The Buzz About Afternoon Tea
Careys Manor Hotel in the New Forest has launched a new Sweet as Honey Afternoon Tea creatively incorporating the highest-quality natural honey, made and harvested on-site by the hotel’s very own beekeeper. Guests will be treated to finger sandwiches before tucking into freshly baked scones served with homemade jam and thick clotted cream.
However, honey is the star of the show in the selection of seasonal cakes and patisserie including lavender and honey macarons, a honey and almond tart and indulgent honeycomb choux buns. The menu has been carefully curated to complement the floral flavour profile of the honey with notes of chestnut blossom found within the garden grounds.
The Sweet as honey Afternoon Tea is available daily, 2-4pm, at Careys Manor Hotel until 30th September, and served in the lounge or the garden. Partner wth tea, coffee or fizz.
