Pop-up shop to showcase local produce!
Consumers will have a chance to taste and buy some of Hampshire's finest local produce at an innovative pop-up shop appearing in July at new-look Whiteley Shopping Centre near Fareham.
Taking place as part of the Hampshire Food Festival, the temporary shop will be at The Treehouse at Whiteley Shopping Centre from Tuesday 2nd July - Sunday 7th July. The shop is a collaboration between pop-up shop specialists, Space Qube and Hampshire Fare.
The shop will sell a wide range of local products including cheese, wine, meat, chocolate, cake, preserves and cosmetics made from locally-sourced natural ingredients. Customers will be able to meet many of the local producers and discover more about what goes into making their products.
Tracy Nash, Commercial Manager at Hampshire Fare said of the joint venture: 'We are really excited about the potential of this opportunity for our producers. Many of them are small businesses and it can be hard to get their products in front of customers for them to try. Space Qube's vision gives people the opportunity to try and buy local produce from one place. There couldn't be a better way to open the first week of the Hampshire Food Festival!'
Each day will involve tastings from different producers. On Tuesday 7th July Wow Cupcakes will be offering tasting of their decadent cakes. On Wednesday there will be the chance to taste preserves and pickles from Charlotte Brown. For more details see the links below.
