M&S to sell The Tomato Stall Chutney and Juice
Hampshire Fare member, The Tomato Stall has been selected by Marks & Spencer as one of a handful of UK producers to feature in their range of branded artisan food and drink. The range, consisting of only 22 products by 20 different producers, will showcase the very best of British and encourage shoppers to enjoy local fare.
Paul Thomas, Director of The Tomato Stall, is delighted to have been selected. “This is a great opportunity to showcase Isle of Wight Tomatoes and the amazing flavours of our range to a national audience. Since we were first shortlisted in late 2014 we have been really excited about the chance to reach so many customers around the country, so it’s great to finally be launching just in time for summer. It’s fantastic to see a national retailer recognising smaller food producers in this way, and we hope M&S shoppers embrace the range and pave the way for more artisan food.”
The Tomato Stall’s range is made with only the best tasting Isle of Wight Tomatoes, vine ripened and picked by hand for the fullest flavours, with no additives or preservatives. Pure Isle of Wight Tomato Juice is made with only 100% fresh tomatoes, containing no added salt or sugar for a true tomato flavour that is completely healthy. Their Isle of Wight Tomato Green Chutney is a true classic, blending tart, green Isle of Wight Tomatoes with apples and sultanas for sweetness plus a hint of chilli for extra bite.
The Tomato Stall’s Green Tomato Chutney launched in 343 Marks and Spencer stores nationwide in early April 2015, alongside their Pure Isle of Wight Tomato Juice in 83 stores.
