Local Produce Show 2017
On Tuesday 24th January 2017 chefs and buyers are invited to attend the Local Produce Show at the Hilton at The Ageas Bowl.
The well-established annual event is organised by Business South, Hampshire Fare and Cavendish Ships Stores. Over forty local producers will be offering samples and information about what they make.
For chefs and buyers it is an invaluable opportunity to source new and exciting ingredients whilst supporting the Hampshire economy and its local producers.
The show will be opened by Shelina Permalloo, Cook, TV chef and author and MasterChef Winner 2012. Shelina will be joined by Paul Turner, as guest speaker. Paul will share with the local producers his journey from starting out at Alf Turner Butchers and appearing on Dragon's Den, the challenges he faced, and how he overcame these to build a successful business which is growing internationally.
Upham Brewery, The Garlic Farm, Mash Brewery, Hill Farm Juice, Wow Cupcakes, Yarty Cordials, Mooka Gelato, Winchester Distillery, Chalk Valley Cheese, Flack Manor, Bowman Ales and Mozzo Coffee are just some of the forty exhibitors.
It’s free to attend for chefs and buyers so book your place and see you there. The event begins at 11am and ends at 4.30pm. There will be two sessions dedicated to chefs from 11am-12pm and 3pm-4pm and a complimentary lunch will be served. Book here.
