Is This The Ultimate Cookbook?

Here's a great way to help hospitality! Chefs at Home is a collection of more than 100 recipes by 54 of our most highly regarded chefs, and it is also being published to support those who work in the UK's hospitality industry, with all royalties going to Hospitality Action.

Available to pre-order, Chefs at Home will be published on 18th March 2021 - the anniversary of the first lockdown. This is an authentic and unique collection of recipes by many of the country's most renowned chefs, prepared at home with their own families when there were limited ingredients on the shelves. The impressive roll call of chefs includes: Jason Atherton, Heston Blumenthal, Angela Hartnett, Mark Hix, Tom Kerridge, Thomasina Miers, James Martin, Clare Smyth and Mitch Tonks among many others. There are comforting family recipes such as Heston Blumenthal's ratatouille, Michel Roux Jr's Lyonnaise onion soup, Andrew Wong's Singapore noodles and Gordon Ramsay's lockdown banana bread.

Jason Atherton, Chef-Patron and Principal Patron, Hospitality Action says: “When lockdown began in March 2020, we all felt a deep sense of loss, but this was tempered by the joy of spending precious time at home with our families. Behind our closed doors, we all did what we do best: we cooked. And cooked. So, when Hospitality Action asked us to contribute to Chefs at Home, we had lists of recipes as long as your arm to offer up. All the dishes in this book were conceived and cooked with love: think butties, Monster Munch and mash, not foams, soils and emulsions.”

Chefs at Home will also make a great gift - particularly for foodies who always want to know what chefs cook up at home, away from the restaurant kitchen.

Chefs at Home will be published on 18 March 2021 (Jon Croft Editions, £26 Hardback).
