Christmas Treat from Chesil Rectory

A Christmas Treat at Chesil Rectory

It’s getting to feel a lot like Christmas! Especially in Winchester where the Christmas Market, renowned as one of the best in Europe, opens Thursday, 20 November.

To coincide with this event Wallops Wood Cottages have teamed up with Chesil Rectory in Winchester to tempt visitors with a special pre-Christmas offer.

Guests booking a stay at Wallops Wood Cottages during the Winchester Christmas Market, 20 November – 21 December, will receive a £25 voucher towards a meal booked at the Chesil Rectory restaurant, a 600-year-old grade II listed medieval house now a Good Food Guide recommended restaurant serving a modern British menu featuring classic, seasonal dishes and an abundance of fresh local produce.

Wallops Wood Cottages are located in the picturesque Meon Valley in the South Downs National Park just 12 miles away from Winchester. These luxury ground-floor self-catering cottages offer a warm welcome to children and pets, and with underfloor heating, wood-burning stoves and stunning countryside views, they’re a comfortable base year-round for walking, cycling and sightseeing.  (A couple of them even have hot tubs in their gardens.)

Stay at Wallops Wood Cottages and you can enjoy all the festive events taking place in the area including the Christmas market, ice rink and seasonal services at the Cathedral in Winchester.

Advance booking at Chesil Rectory is strongly recommended at all times, but is a pre-condition for participation in this promotion.
