Here's a toast to Hattingley Valley who have just become Hampshire Fare’s latest corporate partner.
Hattingley Valley, based in East Hampshire, make first class English sparkling wine which is sold locally, nationally, in Europe and as far afield as Hong Kong.
The vineyard was planted in 2008 on land similar in character to the Champagne region, and Hattingley Valley is already among the top 20 largest UK wine growers in the UK, as well as having one of the country's most environmentally-friendly wineries.
Simon Robinson, Chairman of Hattingley Valley, commented: “We are delighted to join Hampshire Fare, which is a very natural partner for us, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership, helping to promote a great county which produces fantastic products.”
Hattingley Valley also provide a full service to growers, from offering advice on the merits of planting to undertaking wine production for partner vineyards.
Simon added: “As well as creating great wines for everyone to enjoy, our grape growing and winery operations significantly boost rural employment; in addition viticulture is a very attractive diversification for many farmers.”
