Calling all local chefs, hospitality respresentatives and trade buyers
The Local Produce Show 2014 offers chefs, pub and restaurants owners, trade buyers and hospitality representatives a rare opportunity to meet a collection of the county's finest local producers.
This free event is being organised by Business South and will be held at the Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton on Thursday 23 January from 10am-4.30pm.
More than 35 local producers and suppliers are attending the event including Lyburn Farmhouse Cheesemakers, Flack Manor Brewery, Bellows Direct Food Services, Fluffetts Farm, Catch Isle of Wight and Upham Brewery . There will be an opportunity to talk to these producers and sample their products.
The event promises hospitality venues and trade buyers the chance to build links with local suppliers and discover the delicious food and drink available in Hampshire.
There will also be an exclusive chefs' hour from 3.30pm-4.30pm when selected local producers will talk about their products and offer tastings. Chefs attending this section of the event will also receive a free goodie bag.
