Butler Country Estates Opens a 'Troutlet'
Butler Country Estate's award-winning smoked trout pates and fillets can now be bought direct from the Winchester-based smokery and kitchen.
A popular stalwart of Hampshire and Surrey Farmers’ Markets, Butler Country Estates are opening their own 'Troutlet' at their Winnall smokery and kitchen to better serve those who like to shop and eat local.
The Troutlet on Easton Lane will sell fresh and smoked trout as whole fish and fillets as well as their richly indulgent pates. These creamy and chunky pates come in a wide variety of flavours including classic plain, watercress, dill, and chilli. Current customer favourite, the beetroot and horseradish pate, recently picked up a prestigious 2 Star Great Taste Award. They also have an equally tasty variety of dairy-free pates.
Richard Butler, Managing Director, Butler Country Estates, said “Our customers have been asking us to open a shop for ages and we are excited to be bringing them the Troutlet. As proud members of Hampshire Fare, we are also hoping to be selling products from other local producers in the Troutlet soon.”
The 'Troutlet' at Butler Country Estates, Easton Lane, will be open weekly from 5th October, on Thursdays and Fridays between 12pm and 4pm. There is plenty of free carparking and good disabled access.
