Best Wedding Venue Award for Rownhams House
Rownhams House has been named Best Wedding Venue in the historic awards category alongside celebrating a ten-year anniversary.
Rownhams House (home to Hampshire Fare's office) is having a memorable year with a significant win at this week’s prestigious South Central Wedding Industry Awards. The beautiful Georgian wedding venue beat off stiff competition to win best wedding venue in the historic awards category. The Wedding Industry Awards is an annual event that sets out to find the most outstanding venues and wedding suppliers from across the UK. Rownhams House now goes forward to represent the South-Central region in the national awards on 24th January 2024.
It is also a special accolade due to the winners being voted for by the wedding couples they have helped that year. This goes alongside their prestigious 2023 Best of Bridebook Gold award and English Wedding Award for Hampshire’s most romantic wedding venue from earlier in the year.
The owners Nigel and Helen Owens are shortly celebrating their ten-year anniversary since buying their new home in December 2013. They have renovated and rejuvenated Rownhams House to make it a bustling business hub with offices, meeting room facilities and an award-winning bespoke wedding venue.
Helen Owens said, “We are so lucky to be able to the share our home with so many wonderful people on a daily basis in our offices and with our happy couples at the weekends. We have a small support team and a host of wedding partners that make our lifestyle possible, but when you win an award, we feel all our hard work is worth it. The last ten years have flown by.”
Rownhams House is opening its doors for a wedding fayre with Hampshire Wedding Network on 4th February 2024. Rownhams House offers both indoor weddings in its Grand library, with its ornate plaster work ceiling and wooden marquetry floors, alongside several outdoor options by the lake, in the woods or under the clock tower arch.
