Get ready for an adventure with a Totally Wild UK and wild fermentation expert Rachel de Thample at the beautiful Circle Vineyard at Black Chalk Wine.

This brilliant event marries wild food with wild fermentation. You’ll venture out to learn what to forage around the winery and be shown how to transform your wild things into delicious gut-health ferments. From lacto-fermented olives made with hedgerow sloes or summer cherries, to English damsons fermented like Japanese umboshi.

Once you're finished, head down to the Tasting Room to enjoy a glass of locally grown fermented grape juice or two!

Black Chalk Wine have been serving top quality English Sparkling Wine since 2015. Surrounded by the rolling Hampshire Chalklands, the vineyards are set in 30 acres of stunning estate vineyards spanning three sites: Rivers, Levels and Hide. In 2020, a state of the art Winery, Tasting room and Shop were built.

The Tasting Room is open 7 days a week. Tours and tastings available! Drop in for a bottle, a glass or a spot of lunch from the locally sourced food menu.
