Wild Food Cookery Class With Tim Maddams at Newlyns Cookery School
This wild food cookery day at Newlyn’s is designed to be fun, informative and practical. You won't be asked you to dice with death in the mushroom field or play Russian roulette with plants from the hedgerow, but you will be connected with the environment and shown a few basic, and simple easy wins from the wild larder!
The day will also include some useful artisanal cookery skills like bread baking, skinning a rabbit and fish cookery. Its a story all about where our food comes from and the connections that make that happen. You'll start with a walk around the farm to see if you can find anything tasty to add to your days cookery from the hedgerows and meadows, then return to the cookery school and get cracking with a fun and laid back cookery session encompassing as much of the wild larder as the season allows.
