Wicor Primary School Summer Fayre and BBQ

Join Wicor Primary School this Friday for lots of outdoor Summer family fun from 3pm until 6:30pm. 

There will be lots to see & do, with plenty of activities to keep the children entertained! there will be a funfair, bungee trampolines, bucking Bronco, pony rides, Go-Karting track, face painting, family dog show, local Craft & produce stalls, summer games stalls, photo-booth, Wicor class stalls, ice cream van, refreshments & a BBQ. Also as an added bonus, there’ll even be a fabulous Gin Bar to help keep the adults all entertained! 

During the afternoon 'The Wicor Jack Sausage' will be making its debut on the BBQ delighting all who try. The Wicor Jack Sausage has been made by Owton’s, which runs the butchery counter within the award-winning Garsons Garden Centre, using a wild herb called Jack by the Hedge or Hedge Garlic, picked by the children in their very own Wicor Primary School garden. Horticulture is an integral part of the school’s environmental curriculum and pupils enjoy learning all about, and foraging for this native edible plant and seeing how it can be used as a food ingredient. If you like the taste of this new and wonderful sausage, then why not stop by the butcher's counter at Garsons, where these wonderful sausages will be available for purchase.
