Seasonal Social at Wild Carrot with Winchester Distillery
Wild Carrot is the new restaurant at Four Seasons Hampshire. They will be hosting new Seasonal Socials quarterly throughout the year in Fox Hollow, the stylish private dining room adjacent to the restaurant. At each Seasonal Social, guests will also have the opportunity to discover one of Wild Carrot’s favourite local food and drink producers, as co-hosts for the evening who will introduce and share a taster of their products with all guests.
For the very first Seasonal Social taking place on Thursday 8th February, Wild Carrot will be teaming up with Winchester Distillery, producers of Hampshire Gins, who alongside The Bar’s talented mixologists will create a bespoke welcome cocktail for guests to enjoy on the special evening, before sitting down for dinner.
Wild Carrot’s first Seasonal Social will focus on Wild Carrot’s Winter menu, highlighting local venison and pearas the chosen seasonal ingredients; from Goat’s Cheese and Potato Pressing, served with smoked duck breast and caramelised pear to begin, to rich Venison Loin served with red cabbage and apple puree, potato terrine and spiced game sauce for main course, and Caramelised Pear Tart, served with shortbread, clotted cream and apple brandy ice cream for dessert, the Winter Seasonal Social promises to be a delicious affair.
