Jam and chutney class

Have you ever wanted to have a go at making your own preserves but never known quite where or how to start, do you want to improve the skills you already have, or are you itching to enter your local village show with your prize-winning preserves?

Well, want no more - just spend a few hours with The Hampshire Jam and Chutney Company they'll show you how!

Their sessions are small (max 2 or 4 people) informal classes which will help you and like-minded people, learn how to make lovely jam, marmalade, chutney or jelly. They hold the classes in their own kitchens in the Winchester area and whenever possible we use seasonal Hampshire produce, direct from the grower, so it couldn't be fresher. Go along to a Jamming Session and learn how to make a jam and a marmalade, or go along to a combined Jam and Chutney Session, where you'll make both jam and chutney and you'll even get to take some of what you've made home.

Jam classes are held from 9.30am to 12.30pm or 2pm to 5pm
Combined jam and chutney classes are held from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm

Prices:

Jam/Jelly class (approx 3 hours) - £40
Combined jam and chutney class (approx 4 hours) - £70
