FlavourFest returns to Odiham
FlavourFest returns to Odiham this Bank Holiday Monday
Flavours from around the world will be served up at Odiham FlavourFest this weekend as the village launches its second food and drink festival from 11am to 5pm on Monday 27 August.
Odiham High Street will play host to 50 artisan food and drink stalls, the Hampshire Flavours Marquee with tempting talks from leading local producers and exciting live music.
From BBQ to Hampshire hog roast, marshmallows to macarons, hand-made delicious cakes to charcuterie – there are delicacies to suit all tastes, all lovingly created or sought out by producers from across the South East in the FlavourFest Marketplace.
Visitors can join local food experts and producers as they share their best tips, recipes and behind-the-scenes stories in the Hampshire Flavours Marquee. Whether you’re a skilled home chef, a budding brewer or a wine connoisseur, there's lots to discover and learn.
Jenny Atherton from Fuse Projects who is coordinating the event said “It’s fantastic to see FlavourFest return to the village in 2018, which is free for people to attend. The festival is a huge celebration of food and drink, and gives local producers the chance to come together and share their fantastic food creations with our shoppers. Many of our high street shops, pubs and restaurants will be getting involved in the day and we hope to showcase the village to over 5000 visitors this year.”
