Charity Chefs’ Challenge returns!
Eat, drink and enjoy live culinary theatre at its best whilst raising money for charity.
On June 1st, MC, Chef Alex Aitken from The Jetty restaurant will expertly guide you through an evening of light-hearted fun, banter and food magic.
Joining Alex on stage are Craig McColm and Daniel Noonan from The Jetty restaurants Christchurch and Southampton Harbour Hotels.
Andy Mackenzie and Sylvain Gachot from Lainston House hotel , TV’s favourite chocolate masters; 2016 and 2017 Bake Off; Crème de la Crème winners Mark Tilling and Ian Mark.
Learn how to create impressive food in minutes whilst witnessing tricks of the trade and theatrical food magic. There’ll be Q&A’s and a few lucky winners will be eating at the Chefs’ table.
The audience start their evening with pre show nibbles and tastings served from 6.45pm, including a welcome glass of Prosecco or Ringwood Brewery ale, delicious canapés from Vanilla catering and tastings from Waitrose. 7.30pm show, a complimentary New Forest ice cream will be served in the interval, and all for £25.
Thanks to the generosity of our performers, donors and sponsors the entire £25 ticket fee will be donated to the Murray Parish Trust; raising money to build a dedicated children’s A&E and trauma unit at University Hospital Southampton.
The venue for the evening will be Thornden Hall, a purpose built performance Hall with comfortable tiered seating, large stage and screen for detailed close up shots of the Chefs' work. The Hall is within Thornden School, Chandler’s Ford SO53 2DW. There's ample free parking and a cash bar.
