Beef the Newlyns Way

This intimate evening at Newlyns is a truly perfect course for all meat lovers out there. On this course, Newlyns only take up to eight students, to allow each and every one of you to be able to experience the breaking down of the beef within the cutting room. The first part of the course will comprise of a one hour demonstration within the butchery. Jason, the head butcher, will show you the breaking down of the hind and fore quarter of beef in full detail. The head chef will cook a dish of a" forgotten cut" for you to taste, whilst explaining the techniques involved in long slow cooking.

The course will then progress to the kitchen where you will learn practically how to cook the perfect steak to every desired doneness and to make a creamy peppercorn sauce. A wonderful opportunity to learn and taste some first class Newlyns Hampshire beef.
