The Portsmouth Distillery

The Portsmouth Distillery sits in the heart of Fort Cumberland, a beautiful 18th Century Bastion on the south eastern tip of Portsea Island, surrounded by the sea and centuries of naval history. Here we lovingly distil a fantastic Fort Gin using gorse flower, elderflower and sea radish that grow at the Fort along with twelve other carefully selected botanicals to add to the mouthfeel.

We also make an exceptional 1968 White Rum distilling sugar cane sourced from plantations in Costa Rica. Other products include a Cinnabar Spiced Rum, and our award winning Fort Cyder using apples hand picked from Hampshire.
