Fare Play at The Ageas Bowl

Hampshire Fare have agreed a new Corporate Partnership with The Ageas Bowl, the home of Hampshire Cricket.

Together the two organisations are going to collaborate on an activities programme for the coming year that will offer marketing opportunities to Hampshire Fare members while adding to the experience of visiting The Ageas Bowl.

Hampshire Fare markets will be in place at The Ageas Bowl on 15th and 22nd May and 25th July for the 2015 NatWest T20 Blast campaign – the shortest and arguably most exciting form of the game. Led by 24-year old captain James Vince, Hampshire will be looking to reach a record sixth consecutive T20 Finals Day this season.

Tracy Nash, Commercial Manager, Hampshire Fare, commented: “We feel it is very fitting that Hampshire Cricket and Hampshire Fare are working together as they both represent a core part of Hampshire’s heritage.

“We are particularly excited for our members that a new audience will become aware of the quality and abundance of Hampshire’s food and drink through this series of match day markets. We also believe that the markets will enhance the experience of the match days for visitors, showcasing the best of Hampshire.”

The market at The Ageas Bowl on 25th July will be a special Festival Market as part of the award-winning Hampshire Food Festival, which is organised by Hampshire Fare and runs throughout July.

Mike Wright, Chairman, Hampshire Fare, added: “We consider this to be a further development that helps to redefine Hampshire as a tourism destination with an offering that encompasses top quality sporting attractions and celebrates Hampshire’s exceptional local produce.”
