Wine Tourism Made Easy with Vineyards of Hampshire

Drink in the landscape of Hampshire through Vineyards of Hampshire’s online destination website. Vineyards of Hampshire (VoH) recently launched their new website to coincide with English Wine Week. This new site recognises the importance of wine tourism as English wine becomes increasingly highly regarded - with Hampshire now a hub for award-winning winemakers.

For the past eight years, nine vineyards have been working together under the VoH title to promote the wines of the region. The group includes Black Chalk, Cottonworth, Danebury Vineyards, Exton Park Vineyard, The Grange Vineyards, Hambledon Vineyard, Hattingley Valley, Jenkyn Place and Raimes

The new VoH online platform has a complete guide to the region’s wine tourism opportunities. Each member vineyard has a dedicated page with details of their offerings, from tranquil vineyard tours and tastings to winery events and dinners. The website also explains the remarkable stories of the region and includes recommendations of where to stay and dine in the vicinity of each vineyard.  A live map page is available for route planning and creating personal itineraries.

Representing a variety of soils, aspects and grape varieties, the VoH produce a range of award-winning English sparkling and still wines. The new website also provides a one-stop shop selling mixed cases of VoH wines. These include the Vineyard's Selection (pictured above), the Winemaker’s choice (below), the Sparkling Rosé Collection and Still White Wine Selection.

The VoH have also already established themselves with two exciting wine tasing events . These are Fizz Fest with street food, bands, and wines to taste and buy (next one scheduled for July 2022), and Fairy Lights & Fizz, a pre-Christmas shopping event perfect for stocking up on English wines for the festive season, and held in Winchester. To be kept informed about these events and others, wine lovers can subscribe to the VofH’s newsletter via the website (www.vineyardsofhampshire).

VoH vineyards come in all shapes and sizes and from small to large each offer a unique opportunity to experience some amazing wine tours. Together, the VoH offer a truly eclectic mix of English vineyard tourism experiences and delicious English wines. The members comprise successful individual vineyard businesses, and as a group they work with mutual respect and collaboration.

All nine members’ wines are available from independent wine merchants and top restaurant establishments throughout the UK.  VoH are members of Wine GB (the vineyard governing body of Great Britain) as well as Hampshire Fare.
