It’s Fathers’ Day on 21st June. Don’t panic! We’ve suggestions for thoughtful gifts and they are all local.

For the real ale enthusiast: Steam Town Brewery (Eastleigh) have launched a new webshop offering local, free deliveries and a click and collection option. The webshop automatically updates to show what is in stock and available, including the latest very hop-forward canned craft beers. You can also choose a gift pack or gift voucher (another new development) so Dad can choose his own.

For foodie fathers: A bespoke hamper from New Forest Hampers can be stuffed full with all Dad’s favourite local goodies, chosen just for him. It includes all the ingredients to make two scrumptious Negroni cocktails: two hefty Italian Negroni glasses, bar spoon, a jigger to get the measures just right, 100ml Campari, 100ml Punt e Mes Vermouth, and (of course) 100ml bottle Pothecary Gin Sicilian Blend, plus fresh organic orange to garnish. Dads receiving this special Cocktail Case will also be invited to join a private Facebook group on Father’s Day (at 6pm on 21st June) for a live session from Pothecary Gin’s Martin Jennings, demonstrating the perfect Negroni cocktail.
