Pick Your Own Apples and Pears Weekend

Are you looking for a great day out that's both fun and educational for the little ones? Or do you simply enjoy fresh locally grown produce?

Then why not make the most of the sunny weather and visit Blackmoor Estate for a fun day out picking your very own apples and/or pears.

Blackmoor Estate near Liss are proud to showcase their wonderful orchards. They usually host an annual Apple Tasting Day which is very popular with the locals and visiting tourists. However, due to the current circumstances they have sadly had to postpone this event until next year, which means that they are kindly running an extra pick your own weekend, giving you the rare chance to view their orchards and pick your very own locally grown fruit.

An ideal opportunity to stock up on your supply if you are storing apples and pears or making juice or cider. Varieties will include: Cox, Bramley, Egremont Russet apples and Concorde, Conference and Comice pears.

Dates: Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September; Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October
Time: 9.30am to 4.30pm
Location: In our orchards between Blackmoor and Selborne (follow signs). Nearest postcode is GU34 3LR
Bring: bags, appropriate footwear, hand sanitiser. This takes place in a large outdoor area of orchards so it will be possible to socially distance – face masks at your discretion only. Card payments will be possible.

This event is free to attend but you will need to purchase your apples and pears.
