Gospel Green

Gospel Green Cyder is crafted from hand-picked apples grown on the Blackmoor Estate in Hampshire. Established in 1990, it is produced using the ‘traditional method’ as employed in the Champagne region of France. This technique involves four months of fermentation in vats followed by a minimum of ten months in the bottle. Once secondary fermentation is complete, the bottles are disgorged and a ‘dosage’ is added to develop the ‘Brut’ taste. Bottles are then corked, wired, labelled and prepared for sale. On years when the apple harvest is exceptional, an Ultra Brut is also produced.
