Hospitality, Retail & Education Membership
Hospitality, Retail & Education Membership applies to businesses that sell, serve or promote Hampshire-grown produce that are based in Hampshire or in close proximity to the county boundary.
Members could include restaurants, cafes, pubs and caterers; hotels and B&Bs; farm shops, delicatessens and retail outlets, including butchers, fishmongers and wine merchants; attractions with a cafe or shop, and any other commercial business that sells or stocks a good proportion of local produce. Cookery schools and home economists who use and promote Hampshire produce in their business are also eligible for Hospitality & Retail Membership.

Membership benefits:
- Business advice service to help you source and supply local produce, to develop local produce menus and promote food, drink and craft from Hampshire.
- Increased profile of your establishment as a supplier and/or stockist of local food, drink or craft, and as a supporter of Hampshire’s local food economy.
- PR and media advisory service, including access to local, regional, national and specialist food media contacts.
- Website entry on www.hampshirefare.co.uk with a link to your own website. There is also an exclusive members’ only section on this site with private access to trade development, training and event opportunities.
- Promotion of your news via Hampshire Fare's Twitter and facebook pages.
- Fortnightly Hampshire Fare e-newsletter (Fortnightly Fare) detailing latest news, event opportunities and training courses for Hampshire Fare members.
- Free entry in the high-quality annual Directory of Local Produce published by Hampshire Fare, distributed to the public, press and trade, plus discounted advertising opportunities.
- Opportunity to take part in the Hampshire Food Festival, with a free entry in the published Hampshire Food Festival programme to promote your event and business, plus discounted advertising opportunities.
- Promotion of your local food events via www.hampshirefare.co.uk and to Friends of Hampshire Fare consumer database.
- Use of the Hampshire Fare logo on your publicity material and menus, plus free Hampshire Fare point of sale material.
- Networking opportunities with other Hampshire Fare members and industry contacts.
Hospitality and Retail annual membership fee:
1-3 employees £125 + vat
3-10 employees £150 + vat
10-15 employees £175 + vat
15+ employees £210 + vat
3-10 employees £150 + vat
10-15 employees £175 + vat
15+ employees £210 + vat
Training Providers (cookery schools, home economists etc) £165 + vat
Charities and Voluntary organisations (registration number to be provided for vat exempt businesses) £100
Number of employees is based on those employed on a full time basis (including business owners/directors and contractors)
