New Chef Forages for new TerraVina Restaurant

Hotel TerraVina in the New Forest is opening an additional restaurant 'The Dining Room at TerraVina'. This will complement the hotel's main restaurant and focus on fine dining. It coincides with the arrival of a new Executive chef, George Blogg. The restaurant will open on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings only and will offer a nine or twelve course tasting menu comprising of dishes using foraged and fresh produce exclusively from Hampshire and Dorset. TerraVina is a Member of county food group Hampshire Fare.
Nina Bassett told us: 'George Blogg joins us having previously been the sous-chef at the 2 Michelin starred Champignon Sauvage Restaurant. We feel very fortunate to have him with us. He brings a passion and enthusiasm for food which is infectious and we love all of the forest-foraged treats he is tempting us with.'
