Introducing Chocolate Craft
Chocolate Craft, was set up in 2004 by former NHS Nursing Development and Research Manager, Debbie Carter. Based in Old Alresford, in the heart of the county, the business has enjoyed considerable success over the last few years developing a range of chocolate teaching and chocolate based events to complement its well established chocolate making business.
Enjoying recognition as an award-winning artisan supplier to Fortnum & Mason, the business goes from strength-to-strength, employing four staff in addition to Debbie, plus a large ‘events team’ who run a host of chocolate making events both locally and nationally.
Sharing the passion for premium handmade and hand decorated chocolate is a key part of the business. Fun, interactive and friendly Chocolate Making Workshops take place regularly (2 or 3 per month) at Chocolate Craft’s Old Alresford premises, where visitors are taught how to produce their very own chocolates to their own unique recipes, along with the art of hand piping with chocolates – a skill then put to the test when decorating their own chocolate lolly. Everyone takes away with them 21 handmade chocolates along with their decorated lolly – all beautifully packaged to wow friends and family!
More recently, Debbie has adapted the successful Chocolate Making Workshop format to meet a growing demand for Chocolate parties. As with the workshops, all attendees get to make their very own handmade chocolates and experience the art of lolly decorating. Formats are adaptable to meet the needs of the party, but all of them are guaranteed to be fun, entertaining and memorable!
With over 10 years’ experience within the ‘Corporate Team Building Events’ business, Chocolate Craft has delivered hundreds of successful events to thousands of happy delegates, counting many blue-chip companies as their clients, including, Rolls Royce, Sony, Shell, BP, Dell, Santander, Ernst & Young & KPMG. A number of different event formats have been developed, with every event tailored to meet the precise needs of the client.
