Be proud of our award-winning local cheeses and serve a delicious local cheeseboard to your guests this festive season. Whether you are looking for goats cheese, gouda style, blue cheese or a soft cheese you can find them all here in Hampshire.
Across the county talented artisan cheese makers are working to create some of the UK's top cheeses. Earlier this year Tunworth, made by Hampshire Cheeses, was awarded Supreme British Champion 2013 with Lyburn Farm, Loosehanger Cheeses and Two Hoots also winning multiple awards.
Many of the local cheese makers can be found at Hampshire Farmers' Markets where you have the added benefit of being able to try the cheese and talk to the producers. You can also find local cheese in many farm shops and independent shops. Some are also stocked by The Southern Co-operative in stores offering the Local Flavours range. Tunworth Cheese is also available in Waitrose. Some producers also sell online.
