Summerdown

Summerdown grows and harvests the rare but very traditional Black Mitcham peppermint on their farm in the foothills of the Hampshire Downs.

During the harvest, the mint leaves are taken to their purpose-built distillery. The result is a rare single estate peppermint oil, with a cooler, more intense flavour and scent than other varieties.

They use it to produce their award-winning chocolates and teas. Bright, fresh and aromatic, it is a very different taste from the harsher, blended, imported peppermint of the past 60 years.

They have also used it to create their award-winning body, bath and home collection.
