Gilbert White's House & Gardens

Gilbert White's House & Gardens is the home of 18th Century writer and natiuralist Gilbert White. The museum and gardens boast a great cafe which uses ingredients from the garden as well as a small farm shop which stocks local food. The museum boasts an excellent nano-brewery The Gilbert White Brewery, which opened in 2019 in Gilbert White's own brewhouse erected in 1765. The beer is sold exculsively in the Farm Shop and the museum's gift shop, however you can try the range of beers in the Jubilee Tap across the road which the museum opened in 2023.
